This original side table is made from a solid reclaimed cherry slab and inlaid with a seam of hardwoods to prevent any additional splitting down the face. Hand turned maple legs reflect the polished curvature of the table's surface. The piece combines forms found in mid-century modern furniture, with the organic wabi-sabi character of the cracked grain. It's finished with a classic Danish oil blend and wax.

The inlay acts to mirror the curvature of the top and prevents any additional splitting and checking from the pre-existing cavities.
An occasional table inspired by iconic mid-century modern designs. The solid cherry table top plays with organically sculpted surfaces and naturally sculpted raw features. An inlaid band of mixed hardwoods mirrors the subtle curvature from the table top. A tripod of turned maple legs provides a firm base and a light touch.
